Argyle necklace

This necklace was created for the Etsy Beadweavers Team February challenge on the theme Warmth. Please visit our team blog, http://www.etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.co.il/2014/02/voting-for-february-warmth-challenge.html between the 9th and 15th of April and vote for your favorite entry.

The argyle pattern is derived from the tartan of Clan Campbell, of Argyll in western Scotland, used for kilts and plaids, and from the patterned socks worn by Scottish Highlanders since at least the 17th century.
This pattern is always associated with warmth and cosiness of wool sweaters and socks. I chose to knit it in the necklace, in warm pleasant colors.
The necklace is made with crochet knitting technique. Is flexible and smooth, and will make an classic accent to your each day wearing. Magnet clasp snaps easily.

You can find it in my store.
